Forget 'hope and change.' That's just so 2000's. The Obama campaign has a new slogan.Let's go to the videotape.
I'm sure you'll all be shocked to hear that the slogan is Communist. I'm sure it's just a coincidence.
Oh, and by the way, Fortune Magazine reported yesterday that there are going to be 21,000 more layoffs on Wall Street in the next few days.
Today, Fortune reports that these layoffs will total 21,000 positions cut across the financial sector in New York City alone–a number that rivals the amount of jobs cut as a result of 2008′s financial crisis.What could go wrong?
“Large layoffs are a virtual certainty,” said veteran financial industry recruiter Steve Potter at Odgers Berndtson in Fortune.
Yet unlike the financial crisis layoffs four years ago, this wave of downsizing comes on the heels of tentative economic recovery and modestly optimistic earnings reports from the first quarter of the year.
And it is true that smaller banks and boutique firms are snapping up talent, so the net result in the financial sector of the job market may not be as devastating as first appears. But can smaller institutions grab talent as quickly as bigger institutions shed it?
Regardless, bankers should expect to see compensation decrease by roughly 30% overall this year, according to Fortune.

By all means, President Peres and the Start Up Nation brand managers should for sure go stand with Obama to get the "Stimulus" $billions! Never Forget!
And Mark Levin, on his radio show last night, said something like... Here's this new slogan, unveiled at the exact right moment for the #OWS May Day events, with their long Communist history. RIOTS! I say that, not Mark Levin. Already broke windows in San Fran. Isn't that just so edgy and cool and free speech? Ugh.

Reagan used to say that it was "Morning in America."
Do you know that the morning is associated with?
The morning star.
Do you know what the morning star is called?
Lucifer.
Do you know who Christians think Lucifer is?
The Devil.
So, this is pretty solid evidence that Reagan was a devil worshipper who was ushering in the age of the devil in America.
But I could be wrong. The morning is also associated with the Sun.
And the Sun is associated with Ra, the sun god, and Kephri, the scarab god who brings the morning sun.
So, Reagan could have been calling in a new age for America, bringing it under the wings of the ancient Egyptian mysteries.
Using the logic displayed by the bastions of RW thought, it's one or the other, because it couldn't have been a coincidence, not with those long time, rich associations.

My first exposure to Dov Bear was when he live blogged a bloggers conference at which I was a panelist and wrote something like "who the heck is this guy?" only to be told - about five years ago, that I had more than double the traffic he had.
