At a drill in the Golan Heights, the Golani reconnaissance soldiers trained with a combat engineering company and made use of the 'leopard' armored personnel carrier (APC).IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz visits the Golani reconnaissance battalion--an elite commando unit operating in northern Israel. The drill was also attended by Northern Command GOC Maj. Gen. Yair Golan and Ground Forces GOC Maj. Gen. Sami Turgeman.

One of the many things I LOVE about the Israeli forces is that they look so relaxed and casual when they talk and even their dress is not the anally tight stuff like the Iranians or North Koreans wear. Yet they are so clever and their outcomes are so brilliant, most of the time!
