Report: Mughniyeh killed Hariri without Nasrallah's knowledge
A report in France's Le Figaro claims that Hezbullah operative Imad Mighniyeh arranged the assassination of Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri all by himself, and that Hezbullah chieftain Hassan Nasrallah didn't know about it. The French daily claimed that the murder of former Lebanese prime minister Rafik Hariri in 2005 was planned by top Hezbollah commander Imad Mughniyeh, without Nasrallah's knowledge.Could it then be that Mugnhniyeh's assassination three years later was an inside job by people in Hezbullah who were angry with him over Hariri, and not, as everyone has assumed until now, an Israeli operation? Hmmm.
