US, South Korea may purchase Iron Dome
The United States and South Korea are reported to be interested in purchasing units of Iron Dome, Israel's defense system against short-range missiles. The US Army has expressed interest in the system to be deployed outside forward bases in Iraq and Afghanistan that could potentially be targeted by Katyusha rockets. The US military has discovered 107 mm. Katyushas in Iraq in the past.I wonder if they have solved the problem of rocket barrages.
Another potential client is South Korea, which is interested in using the system to defend against rocket attacks from North Korea.

In August, Rafael announced it was partnering with Raytheon to market the Iron Dome in the US. The system is said to be capable of working together with the US Army’s Counter Rocket, Artillery and Mortar (C-RAM) system as part of a layered defense for military bases.

I think they'll end up making some (or most) with lasers instead of projectiles. Progress in lasers is being made. And I think they will soon be able to knock down rockets back on top of the senders. Some will always get through, but less is better. And, remember how the security barrier made the bus bombers few enough to handle? Some get through, but it is so much better than it was... Mazel tov to Rafael teaming with Raytheon. Both are great companies.
I think that defensive weapons of such should be and need to be purchased by all West4ern democrfatic countries as these thugs are about to start something bad
