Time to call Obama's bluff on Israel
This past week, the Obama administration was forced to cut off funding to UNESCO because of a clear US statute, which was passed during the administration of George H.W. Bush (not exactly a friend of Israel) and amended during the Clinton administration, which requires the United States to cut off funding to any United Nations agency that recognizes a state of 'Palestine' except as a result of negotiations. Obama wanted to get out of it. He wanted to continue funding UNESCO. But under American law, he can't, and with the Republicans in control of the House, there is no way he can get that law changed. The UN law has no out for 'national security.'On the other hand, every six months, Obama uses the national security excuse to avoid moving the US embassy to Jerusalem. Clinton and George W. Bush both did the same thing, but Obama removed from the statement issued every six months the phrase that says that the administration remains committed to moving the embassy to Jerusalem.
Yet, Obama, as he stands for reelection, tries to convince us all that he is committed to Israel. It is time to call him on his 'commitment.'
It is time to introduce a bill in Congress to move the US embassy to Jerusalem. Simple and straightforward. NO NATIONAL SECURITY OUT. You have one year to move the embassy to Jerusalem. Period. The House, which is dominated by Republicans, will vote in favor. The Senate, which has a whole bunch of Democrats who are up for reelection, will fear for its political life and vote in favor. Will Obama veto the bill? In 2012 when he is up for reelection?
This is an issue on which nearly all Israelis and most American Jews agree. And lots of American Christians agree too.
I'm serious about this. I know there are some people on Capitol Hill who follow me, and I'd love to hear your reactions. But this strikes me as a golden opportunity to either get the US to take a stand on Jerusalem, and/or to expose the fraud named Barack Hussein Obama.

it is also important to get all candidates committed to moving the embassy... and also get their opinion on television so that the public can know where they stand on the issue and the issue becomes accepted common knowledge. moving the embassy is symbolic and part of the symbolism is to create as much publicity to the issue as possible. So far we have to my knowledge Newt and Cain... and if I am mistaken then the other candidates can correct me... which is something I would like them to do.
Hi Carl.
Great proposal, Great Move!
But Obama will never let this pass.
Have a great week.
Will.
Conversations with/at the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) to set up some sort of college division to provide an umbrella organization for college kids to work with the college Republicans. I think they may just do it. There won't be a huge number of these kids, but there will be more if they have a structure for it.
Also, conversations will start with RJC to set up donation mechanism, state by state, so that designated contributions by intelligent U.S. Jews can be made and used in the relevant state (not diverted to NY or CA).
The only way to get rid of these people is to vote them out next year. The election is exactly one year away. Everybody needs to do something to get the (R) vote out to overcome the (D) Acorn methods. No sitting out because the perfect candidate hasn't materialized.
And remember to remind everybody that they (yet) have the secret ballot. They can go in and vote the (R) ticket for a couple of elections to get the train back on the "center" tracks, and then start voting back and forth as we've always done in the past. The (D)s have gone marxist and the (R)s have also moved way left. If you listen to MLK and JFK's old speeches, they would be considered "right wingers" now. So, even voting (R), you won't be voting as conservative as JFK and MLK were. It will take a while. And remember you can do all this voting without having to deal with a Rabbi's approbation because your vote is your own business, no one else's.
There are only 6-7 mil Jews out of 320+ mil Americans, so the number of votes isn't huge. But attitude and possibly donations to (more) conservative candidates (even the conservatives are less conservative than JFK/MLK) will make a difference.
