Tonight is Rosh Chodesh, the beginning of the new Jewish month of Kislev.This song is based on the prayer said on Shabbos before Rosh Chodesh( the new month)-"Mevarchim HaChodesh. A short explanation of the Jewish calendar is included. Written by David Flug for the Deemyon Orchestra as part of their "Holiday songs" project.
