Video: Gadhafi is dead; UPDATE Gadhafi was executed

Former Libyan leader Muammar Gadhafi was killed today near his hometown of Sirte, Libya. Israel Radio reported two different versions of how he died - one of which says that he was captured alive and subsequently killed by Libyan troops. Hmmm.

Here's footage from al-Jazeera of Gadhafi's body being dragged through the streets of Serte (should we call it a Gadhafi swarm?). Here's what al-Jazeera has to say about it:
Al Jazeera has acquired exclusive footage of the body of Muammar Gaddafi after he was killed in his hometown, Sirte.

Abdul Hafiz Ghoga, vice chairman of Libya's National Transitional Council, confirmed that the ousted leader had been killed on October 20, 2011 near Sirte.

"We announce to the world that Muammar Gaddafi has been killed at the hands of the revolutionaries," Ghoga told a news conference in Benghazi.

The news came shortly after the NTC captured Sirte after weeks of fighting.
Let's go to the videotape.

I heard a statement from a Pan Am 103 widow that said that justice has been served. I disagree. Justice would have been served had he died a slow and painful death. His justice will come elsewhere.

UPDATE 7:30 PM

The version that Gadhafi was captured alive and executed is apparently correct. Here's video that shows him being captured alive.

Let's go to the videotape.

I with so many others am glad this guy is dead. But I hope you all are concerned with how animalistic the "rebels" are. This video worries me, who is going to be in charge now?

He might have been rethinking having all female body guards at the end...
