Shocker: Leader of 'housing' protests a poor little rich girl

Either someone is posting some false information on Wikipedia, or the 25-year old who is behind the tent cities springing up all over Israel had one of the wealthiest upbringings an Israeli could dream about.
Leef is the daughter of the Israeli composer Inam Leef (ינעם ליף), and the great-granddaughter of the notable Israeli engineer Zalman Leef. Leef was born Jerusalem and raised in the Rehavia neighborhood in the city.

Leef attended the junior high Gymnasia Rehavia, and at 16 she moved with her family to Kfar Shmaryahu.

In 2005 , Immediately after graduating high school, Leef moved to Tel Aviv and began studying at the film department at the Tel Aviv University. Leef graduated in 2008 and soon afterwards became a video editor by profession.
Rechavia is one of Jerusalem's oldest and wealthiest neighborhoods. Today, many of its apartments are owned by wealthy foreigners who leave them empty most of the year.

Kfar Shmaryahu is a neighborhood of Herzliya and is probably the second wealthiest place in the country (after Savion). Full of houses that are bigger than most houses I have seen in America. So why is this rich girl leading a protest against housing prices?
Leef was forced to evacuate her apartment in central Tel Aviv, which she had been renting for three years, due to major building renovations.[1] When she searched for a new apartment she was astounded to see how the current rental prices in the entire Tel Aviv metropolitan area have become especially high. As a result, Leef decided to pitch a tent at Habima Square in Tel Aviv. In addition, Leef opened a Facebook protest page and invited people to join the protest. Soon afterwards many people joined the protest and hundreds of tents were pitched in the streets around Tel Aviv's Rothschild Boulevard as well as Jerusalem's Zion Square,[2][3] sparking off the 2011 Israel housing protests.
Yeah, rent in Central Tel Aviv is pretty high, isn't it? I know lots of people who can't afford it. Most of us moved to the periphery instead.

I wonder if Ms. Leef would favor allowing massive construction in Judea and Samaria. That would certainly lower the prices and there's a lot more vacant land there than there is in 'Central Tel Aviv.' Parts of it are short commutes to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. But no - she and her friends would rather create more Jewish homeless instead by expelling Jews to create a 'Palestinian state.'

How many more modern day Richie Rich's are sleeping in tents in Tel Aviv this summer? I'll bet there are a lot. Hopefully, the rains will come by the time the Knesset goes back into session and then these kids will miraculously find places to live.

/Getting more contemptuous by the minute

Now I am thinking of pitching a tent in Hyde Park! It's disgusting that I cannot afford a house in Central London, and have to live 70 miles away! Oh wait, if I was a mozlem single mother with children by several fathers, I could get a house in Park Lane...
