Turkey holding 'Palestinian ambassadors' conference

The Turks are working hard on 'reconciling' with Israel. Really hard.
The “Palestinian Ambassadors’ Conference” will take place on 23-24 July 2011, in Istanbul with the participation of Chiefs of Mission accredited to all Palestinian Representations abroad as well as senior officials of the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Conference will be inaugurated by H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey and H.E. Mahmoud Abbas, President of Palestine. On the margins of the Conference, President Abbas will have bilateral meetings with Prime Minister Erdogan and Foreign Minister Davutoglu.

These meetings would facilitate consultations and coordination on Turkish-Palestinian bilateral relations, the current situation in Palestine, the Middle East Peace Process as well as recent developments in the region.
Face it - it's over between us and Turkey. Time to stop humiliating ourselves trying to save a relationship that doesn't exist anymore.

Moshe Ya'alon said the Turks want an apology but they are not prepared to reconcile with Israel.

Its not worth Israel humiliating itself for a return to the old days of warm Turkish-Israel relations that will never be what they once were.
