Egypt and Israel agree: Flotilla can offload cargo in El-Arish
Egypt and Israel have agreed that the flotilla of fools, which is now scheduled to arrive in our area toward the end of the week, may offload its cargo in the Egyptian port of El-Arish. The goods will then be transferred over land to Gaza. But if the ships insist on attempting to enter Gaza, they will be towed to Ashdod and their equipment will be impounded.“We expect the flotilla to set sail later in the week,” a military source said. “We are preparing for various scenarios, from no violence to extreme violence.”My guess is that the ships will not go to El Arish, because the point of this exercise is not to bring aid to Gaza, but to break Israel's blockade. It appears likely that the Navy will disable the ships at sea and then tow them to Ashdod.
The navy and Military Intelligence are closely tracking the flotilla, as well as reports that a Jordanian ship with close to 200 Palestinian and other Arab activists might join the voyage toward Gaza.
“We are pleased that the Turks are not participating but do not yet know what to expect until we meet the ships at sea,” the military source said.
The navy plans to stop the flotilla far from Gaza, after issuing a warning that the territory is under a sea blockade.
“If the ships continue sailing after being warned, then we will have the right to stop them even if they did not yet enter Gaza’s territorial waters,” a defense official explained.
During Sunday's special security cabinet meeting, ministers heard intelligence reports regarding the number of vessels, the passengers on board, and what the ships are carrying.
Israeli officials expressed satisfaction that Cyprus has banned the use of it ports for the enterprise, and that Greece and numerous other countries – such as the US, Canada, France and Australia – have issued strong warnings to their citizens not to participate.
What could go wrong?

The Flotilla is not about humanitarian aid. It never was.
Its about insisting that Gazans have the right to exchange goods and trade with the rest of world.
Israel began ending its occupation of Gaza in 2005. The Flotilla seeks to terminate Israeli control of Gaza for good.
If the Stupid Jews want to prevent future flotillas, confiscate the ships and make the crews pay the full costs of their impoundment.
That should get the message through to them... seeing as there are no actual goods to be sent to Gaza.
The entire thing is an anti-Israel PR exercise. Aid for Gaza is only a cover story. But that's what they want to give to the world.
Let's hope Israel is ready for it, if they do sail.
bless.sins, your terrorist entity, Gaza, doesn't have any rights to wage attacks against the sovereign state of Israel.
Try barking up the right tree. But that's all you do - bark.
If the flotillas are not about "humanitarian aid" (not true according to their PR, by the way, they proclaim endlessly that Gaza is a humanitarian wasteland, an outdoor prison etc. etc.) and no, they never actually bring in useful humanitarian aid not already available in bulk by way of the Israelis, then what is it about?
Free commerce? No, opening up the route to gun running and permitting a reichlet dedicated to liquidating a member UN state to thrive while maintaining a theocratic thugdom internally and a genocidal foreign policy vis a vis Isreal externally.
