Glenn Beck announces 'Restoring Courage' rally in Jerusalem in August
Maybe this will help Bibi Netanyahu find his 'junk,' since Tuesday morning's JPost print headline is that Netanyahu 'might' give up 'settlements' that are not in the 'settlement blocs' in exchange for 'peace.' More on that later.By 12:30 Monday night, someone had emailed to tell me that Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat was on the Glenn Beck show, and someone else (sorry - I don't remember who) sent me the logo at top left of this email.
I then emailed Cheryl H, who regularly sends me all Glenn Beck shows that relate to Israel, and sure enough the links were in Tuesday morning's email.
But first, the details about the 'Restoring Courage' rally.
“I believe I’ve been asked to stand — in Jerusalem,” Beck told his audience recounting a list of times in history when people and nations failed to stand with the Jewish people. Beck explained, as he has often in the last year, how the life and thinking of the German theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer has influenced him: “He asked people to stand for the Jewish people.” He told of Bonhoeffer’s call for pastors to stand with him. Only six did.And now, here's the show. Here's Part 1.
Beck detailed current challenges facing the nation — “Things in Israel are going to get bad…it’s only a matter of time.”
“They are going to attack the center of our faith, our common faith, and that is Jerusalem. And it won’t be with bullets or bombs. It will be with a two-state solution that cuts off Jerusalem, the old city, to the rest of the world.”
“It is time to return inside the walls that surround Jerusalem and stand with people of all faiths all around the world.”
The event will unfold under the designation “Restoring Courage,” with a clear intention that it serve as a step forward from last summer’s “Restoring Honor” rally held on 8/28 in Washington, D.C.
Beck explained that final dates and details are still coming together. He expects that there will be a full week of activities in Israel. There will also be ways for people to participate from here in the United States.
As full details become available they will be posted on Beck’s e-mail newsletter.
Let's go to the videotape (Hat Tip: Cheryl H).
And here's Part 2. The guest is Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat.
Let's go to the videotape.
Here's Part 3. Barkat is still on.
Let's go to the videotape.
By the way, this might be why Barkat didn't take the bait to attack Obama.
Here's Part 4, again with Barkat.
Let's go to the videotape.
And finally, here's Beck announcing the 'Restoring Courage' rally on the radio.
Let's go to the videotape.
If any of you are planning to come to the rally, please let me know. Depending on my schedule, perhaps we can work something out.

I posted a comment but went I sent it my screen went black. Did you get the comment? Please let me know, I want to be a part of your plans.
Carl - you know as well I do that the Clinton Parameters "every one knows" Netanyahu offered, the Palestinians rejected.
If the price is recognizing Israel as the Jewish State, giving up all future claims on Israel, including the right of return, no - they won't accept statehood on that basis.
The reason no peace deal will happen is the Palestinians see no reason to settle for anything less than Israel's eventual disappearance.
I'm not really worried about the offer as nothing will come of it.
israel doesnt need this opportunist to hold a rally
and who is gonna show up?
teabaggers gonna book flights to israel?
rofl
It's impossible to overstate how much of a divine wrath magnet this event would be. What a disobedient abomination that sets the stage for the unity of Israel's enemies in supporting the false peace hudna and unbiblical sharing (not dividing) of Jerusalem of the prophesied Antichrist. Beware the Mormon false prophet Glenn Beck.
Im not religious, actually im very anti religious, but they do not bother me.
I support Glen, he is awesome and i watch his shows, I see no reason why we the Israelis should not help him and show up, religious people, Libermans people (like me) and everyone who supports whole Israel.
I understand that some people may not like it, but we should not ignore his contributions, he is popular in USA and influencing lost of people.
If we start ignoring help from people, we will be alone and it sucks, balestinians take any help they can get.
Bacci,
Do you realize how rude your comment was? To answer your snide comment with legitimate answer; yes, there are "teabaggers" that support Israel. Therefore they will be attending this rally.
Are you from Israel? If so we can only hope that the majority of other Israelis are much more polite than you.
