Egypt not issuing visas to Israelis
If you're Israeli and you want to visit Egypt, you may have a small problem: Israeli travel agents report that Egypt is not issuing visas to Israelis. Israeli travel agents said Sunday that Egypt has stopped issuing visas for Israelis to visit the country. Yossi Patael, head of the Israeli Travel Agents Association, said that while no specific ban has been implemented, the Egyptian embassy in Tel Aviv has not issued a new visa for visitors in several weeks. No surprise at all. Why would any Israeli feel safe going to post revolution Egypt? Those that do will just use their foreign passports, which most of us still hold.
