Breaking: Motorcycle swarm watch

The IAF has just wiped out a motorcycle with two Islamic Jihad activists on it. At least one of them is dead.
A person riding a motorcycle in the Gaza Strip has been killed in an IAF strike, a Palestinian medical official said Tuesday.

Adham Abu Salmia said the airstrike took place in the southern Gaza Strip. He had no details on the man's identity, and the IDF had no immediate comment.
Israel Radio gave the name of an Islamic Jihad terrorist. I did not catch it, and unfortunately, I have to go out now. (Don't worry - there are enough posts in the queue to cover you until I come back).
Also Tuesday, Israel Radio cited an Asharq Alawsat report that Hamas is trying to convince groups in Gaza to stop firing rockets at Israel. The report was published as a rocket from the Strip landed south of Ashkelon, causing no casualties or damage.

According to the report, Hamas also deployed operatives along the border with Israel in order to maintain control over the Strip.

Palestinian sources quoted by Asharq Alawsat said that representatives from the different Gaza groups refused to commit to a ceasefire with Israel or to prevent retaliation for Israeli actions. They did, however, agree not to initiate an escalation.
Heh.

Was it really the IAF? Or was it the mossad vulture?

Its not in Hamas interest to a start a war yet. And they are not sure Netanyahu will be as restrained as Olmert should they escalate the situation.

This is another reminder to them of the price they will pay if they let things stay "hot" in the south of Israel.
