Leslie Stahl can't understand that the 'peace talks' have been going on for 17 years and have gone nowhere. Life cannot be stopped forever for the 'peace talks.'
By the way, I think the archeologist was brilliant. And the young couple didn't do too badly either.

You like that "Jews infiltrated themselves in"? (4.5 min.) Arabs took over the city from previous conquerors who took it from the Jews, and we Jews have to infiltrate in. And the Jews formed the largest population group in the city since just after the 1850s, the majority actually, and we're still "foreigners".
Israel is not required to justify itself to countries that neither bled nor gave their lives for Jerusalem or ever went to the city's rescue in the two wars it was under direct enemy fire.
YMedad is correct.
What really makes the world angry is that Jerusalem is a Jewish city. Despite being a majority since the mid-19th Century, Jews are still looked upon as "outsiders." The world has never forgiven the Jews for it.
That is why Israel's actions in the city are always under a magnifying glass. I'd tell the world to get lost!
What I find fascinating is that Lesley Stahl was questioning the archaeologist as if the archaeologist had any control over the peace process. In any event, any suggestion that this archaeological dig was a stunt to lay further claim to israel is, well, rubbish. I agree that all interviewed did very very well.
I am sure glad HaShem is in control of all this, because the world is BLIND. The Arabs do NOT belong there! Period. It is NOT their land.
