Police make arrests in Be'eri stoning
Police have made
two arrests in the stoning of David Be'eri's car near Silwan ten days ago.
Israeli police detained a 12-year-old boy on Sunday who was seen being struck down on video by an Israeli settler organization leader in the flashpoint East Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan on 8 October.
Omran Muhammad Mansour was taken to the Russian compound detention center in Jerusalem for questioning and was not allowed to be accompanied by his parents, Ma'an's correspondent said.
Mansour was one of the two children seen being hit by Elad leader David Be'eri with his car as they threw stones at him during protests in the neighborhood during weeks of unrest following the killing of a Palestinian resident by an Israeli settler guard on 22 September.
A spokesman for Israel's National Police did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment.
Here's the
second arrest.
A resident of the Nahalt Shiloah (Silwan) neighborhood in Jerusalem has been charged with willfully endangering the life of Elad director David Be'eri and his son last week. The 21 year old Arab threw stones at Be'eri as he was driving, causing him to accidentally run down an Arab youth. That Arab has also been accused of throwing stones, and was questioned by police as well. Extra police are set to be dispatched to the neighborhood in the coming days to prevent further rioting by Arabs.
Let's see what happens if these people are convicted.

If they are convicted.
I'm not holding my breath waiting for Israel's leftist state prosecution to do justice.
If that happens, that will be good news!
