The 'Palestinian' exemption from terrorism

Lebanese President Michel Suleiman told the UN General Assembly on Friday that his country rejects terrorism except when committed by 'Palestinians.' The UN responded with applause.
Addressing the U.N. General Assembly in New York on Friday, President Michel Suleiman stressed that "Lebanon will not accept the naturalization of the Palestinians on its territory because that will generate repercussions and dangers against its national security."

"Lebanon reiterates its condemnation of international terrorism, from which it had suffered, and there must be a differentiation between it (international terrorism) and legitimate resistance to occupation," Suleiman told the annual convention of world leaders.

"The international community must oblige Israel to withdraw, without preconditions, from the Lebanese territories it is still occupying, knowing that we preserve the right to reclaim the occupied territories through all means possible," he added.
When you manage to get a complete and verified list of all 'Lebanese territory' we 'occupy,' call us. The UN certified our complete withdrawal from Lebanese territory ten years ago.

No doubt that "Shebaa Farms" excuse trotted out annually by Hezbollah as a justification to continue the armed struggle against Israel.

When that is addressed, no worry, they will find another one.

Yup, Lebanon is quite a peace-seeking country!

There already exists a distinction in international law between legitimate resistance and terrorism. And yet the UN, who presume to pronounce about international law to the rest of the world - and especially Israel - don't seem to be aware of that.

LOL!!! What can you do but laugh at such lunacy!!!
