Moishele starts first grade

Moshe Holtzberg, the only member of his family to survive the massacre at the Chabad House in Mumbai two years ago, has started first grade at a cheder (religious school) in Migdal Ha'Emek.
Moishie Holtzberg, the sole survivor of the massacre in Mumbai’s Chabad House, began Sunday to study in cheder, a Jewish religious school, in the northern Israeli town of Migdal Haemek. Moishie is the son of Chabad emissaries Rabbi Gabriel and Rebecca Holtzberg, both of whom were murdered in the Muslim terror attack.

Moishie's grandparents, Rabbi Shimon and Yehudit Rosenberg, accompanied him on his first day.
Here's a blessing for Moishele.

Let's go to the videotape.

May he grew up to be a talmid chacham (wise student) and a tzadik (righteous person) and bring nachath (good feelings) to his family, both here and in Heaven.

Carl - there are parallels with the biblical story. I could not think of any reason G-d would not want to save him and of many I can.

May he grow to be a great leader of his people!
