Zoabi insists she wants to be Israeli
I'm sure you all recall Hanin Zoabi (or Zouabi), the 'Israeli Arab' MK who took a ride on the Mavi Marmara and found herself forfeiting certain of her privileges as a Knesset member. You will also recall that last week, IDF Radio exposed her as a liar. The latest is that Interior Minister Eli Yishai has told Attorney General Meir Weinstein that he believes that maybe Zoabi doesn't want to be an Israeli citizen altogether. After all, she considers herself a 'Palestinian.' So maybe we should just let her be one. Zoabi doesn't like the idea.
Balad MK Haneen Zoabi told Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein Sunday that the request made by Interior Minister Eli Yishai to denounce her citizenship is dangerous and undemocratic.Maybe we should try her for treason and put her in prison for life instead. I wonder how she would do there. Zoabi reminds me of this 'brave Palestinian boy' who throws rocks at the police in the first picture and has a little accident in the second one.
Zoabi said in a letter sent to Weinstein that taking away her citizenship is totally illegal and goes against all international human rights agreements.
The Balad MK criticized the complaint made by Weinstein regarding the issue and said that he is supposed to restrain dangerous political and public tenancies.
"The call to denounce the citizenship of a chosen public figure just because she does not agree with the majority constitutes a typical example of attempts like this," Zoabi added.
"I would expect that the attorney general of the state of Israel would reject this type of request," Zoabi stated.
Zoabi claimed that "the right to citizenship is a fundamental right of the first degree and constitutes a basis of a number of fundamental rights.
Hanin Zoabi is kind of pishing in her pants, isn't she? Heh.

Arrest her for sedition.
Charge with crimes against the state.
Strip her of citizenship and deport her to Gaza. She'll be happy living with her fellow Arabs and won't have to resent being bossed around by the Jews.
For someone born in Israel, she has little real appreciation for everything which she has been given by the country.
