Interview with retired Mossad representative to Kurdistan

Israeli-Kurd Magazine has a fascinating interview with General Alyazar Jeffrey, who represented the Mossad in Kurdistan in 1974-75 (and possibly afterward although he won't discuss that). The interview is here (Google translation from Danish).

The interview is being touted as Israel opening a consulate in Erbil (or Arbil), which is in Iraqi Kurdistan. That's not what's going on. What Jeffrey says is that if Israel opens an embassy in Baghdad (which unfortunately seems like a longshot right now), he believes that we will open a consulate in Erbil, and if that happens, he would like to be the Consul General.

But the interview is definitely worth reading here (Hat Tip: Joshua I).
