Video: Pick a Side

Here's a great video that was sent to me by its creator, Avi Abelow. You'll love this one.

Let's go to the videotape.

Great to see Representative Mike Pence (R-Ind) asking Obama at the end whose side he's on.

Heh.

meh...

It's a beautiful video, and I'm always a fan of R. Riskin, but it's a bit preaching to the quire. Not sure who on the other side of the argument it would persuade.

The video is titled "Pick a side" but doesn't actually show another side. (which actually might be more persuasive)

To those who read this web blog: Pence was first elected to Congress in 2000 recently elected to a fifth term in November of 2008.

I have found nothing on the internet or in his record where he admonished George Bush for following the intifada of slaughter calling Abbas a MAN of Peace. Ditto nothing on axing the Embassy Act. Nothing on the horror of the George Bush formulated Quartet for Peace. Nothing when his president spoke in public forums such as ME countries (similar to those speeches by Obama) as to the horrors of daily humiliation of occupation of the peaceful Palestinian people. NOT A WORD when his president warned Israel that the Palestinian state should not RESEMBLE SWISS CHEESE BUT BE CONTIGUOUS AND VIABLE.

Not a word when tax dollars went for a Palestinian US TRAINED security force that in the open, MARCHED TO THE NAZI GOOSESTEP.

Nothing when Abbas sanctioned a poster which showed all of ISRAEL...Palestine under the watch of Bush who called Abbas a man of peace!

Nothing about almost vomiting when Bush left Israel telling the Knesset, "Take good care of Olmert. "

During the time of Bush administration ZOA the most conservative and oldest Zionist organization spoke out dozens of times against what our best friend was doing and during that time, Pence kept his mouth shut.

So yes, the video is outstanding. And yes, thank you Representative Pence for speaking out. However, you flunked the litmus test of honor for when you should have spoken out you declined to do so for political reasons...just as you are speaking out now for political reasons

While I would much rather be in the company of a conservative and see a conservative at the helm of this nation, under no circumstances will I be as 'stupid' as a liberal Jew (so they are called) in the department of extreme naiveté!!

And no, this is not at all about Blame Bush for everything but about how my Republican party hierarchy and conservative media kept their mouths locked shut while my beloved Israel got the shaft.

What this boils down to is opening ones mouth no matter who is in office for the good of Israel, not the good of the party.

I respectfully disagree.

The other side is throwing rocks and burning and slaughtering all over the world as depicted in the blown up vehicles and blown up trains all over the world. Those who do this is the other side. We know who they are. Do we have to have a synopsis of the conflict from the beginning? Rape, pillage, slaughter, burn...this is the other side.

Carl, thanks for posting!

is there anyway you can post videos like this without auto play?

What Aaron said. Autoplay is an unpardonable sin. Some people sneak peeks at blogs while at work and there are other situations where a blast of sound is unwelcome.
