Pathetic: Abu Mazen campaigning for Nobel Peace Prize

Like every politician in this region (seemingly), 'Moderate' 'Palestinian' President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen wants to win a Nobel Peace Prize. There are two differences between Abu Mazen and others who won and want to win. First, Abu Mazen does not even have a colorable claim of having brought peace anywhere. And second, Abu Mazen is campaigning for the prize. The campaign is so ridiculous that even the pro-'Palestinian' Foreign Policy blog has noticed.
Taking the unusual step of actively campaigning for the award, Abbas has reportedly sent mediators to persuade the committee to award him the honor and seems to be circumventing the most direct (and much harder) route toward the prize -- creating peace. Most Nobel Peace Prize winners have distinguished themselves by negotiating cease-fires, ending wars or apartheid -- or, in the case of President Obama "for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples."
Given that Obama won the prize without bringing peace anywhere, maybe Abu Mazen has a point. YNet - which is the blog post's source - doesn't say who the 'mediators' might be.

Well, they don't call him Abu Bluff for nothing.

Pathetic not that Abu Mazen is campaigning for the Peace Prize but pathetic that for all his past (which you and others have aptly put together the real CV of ABu Mazen) a good friend of Israel came along and like magic Carl, changed the persona of Abu Mazen. Your stellar work in presenting who the real Abu Mazen is means NOTHING!!! Worse, our friends who supported our 'best friend' who had real clout and power in the oval office decided to turn the other way. This is how the magic change happened. (next time you decide to give a pro Israel politician the label of 'good friend/true friend/best friend' just because they say a few nice things during campaign season, you might ask where was their mouth while the whitewash of Abbas was taking affect!)

It is freaking beyond pathetic that while our good friend aka best friend continued to ax the embassy act he continued to re-sign the lease on the U.S office of the PLO!!!

Hate to tell you, Abu Mazen will most likely get the Nobel Peace Prize. Don't be pissed at the Nobel committee however. Hopefully your anger can become an epiphany of truth.

Make no mistake Abu Mazen was re-made by our best friend at our expense.

And does anyone care? Surely if our best friend made a mockery of our friendship, can you expect anything from our enemies?

The odds are good Abu Bluff will get the Nobel Peace Prize for a non-existent accomplishment. Obama already received it for having done nothing for peace. Why not Abu Bluff? He's a fitting candidate for it in anti-Israel Scandinavia.

Heh

Ah, don't blame it on Scandinavia. What can you expect? However when the west namely the U.S led government took Abu Mazen into their own hands and elevated him knowing full well their elevation was one of the biggest deceptions in history, this I can not forgive.

Never thought I would say the the Scandinavians pale in comparison.
