'Palestinians' willing to hold direct talks if Israel concedes everything first

'Moderate' 'Palestinian' President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen is now said to be willing to conduct direct negotiations with Prime Minister Netanyahu (at least he's saying that he hasn't ruled them out). But there's a price to be paid.
Palestinian Authority officials in Ramallah on Monday did not rule out the possibility that the PA would agree to begin direct negotiations with Israel, in what appears to be a departure from its previous position.

According to the officials, the PA was now inclined to agree to hold direct negotiations, especially following assurances from US President Barack Obama to PA President Mahmoud Abbas.

“We don’t rule out direct talks,” said one official. “But before we move to these talks, we want to have a clear agenda and timetable.”

...

Another Palestinian official said the PA was waiting for US special Middle East envoy George Mitchell – who is scheduled to return to the region at the end of the week to once more push for direct talks – to see if he is carrying replies to a number of questions presented to him by the Palestinians.

Among the questions the Palestinians want answers to are whether Israel would be willing to freeze construction in all West Bank settlements and in east Jerusalem, and to recognize the June 4, 1967, lines as the future borders of a Palestinian state.
Good luck with that.

Palestinians are holding out because they can. Understand? They can because American Presidents have enabled them to the point of obscene fabrication of lies. There is no turning back.

Post intifada two, the Palestinians for what they did, in the eyes of the world were elevated and became the victims. This is why no one gives a flying you know what if Shalt is starving. They don't see him as a humanitarian crisis, do they?

The Palestinians thanks to well placed words suffer from the siege and daily humiliation of occupation, after all. They want peace for only a few wish to hijack it, after all. And so the lies go and you wonder why the Palestinians give nothing in return. HOLY CRAP, they don't have to.

When you release yourself from wearing political blinders you will see we were brought to this point today not by accident but by design.

Next time a good friend running for political office proclaims he or she is a best friend of Israel, think again.

If our friends in high places who screaming bloody murder now, really cared during the last administration, the issue of Jerusalem would no longer be an issue. Nor would the issue of the U.S led Palestinian Security forces marching right smack in our faces to the Nazi Goosestep led by a holocaust denier the last president had the unmitigated gal to call a MAN OF PEACE!!! Yet to deflect real blame you use the word "moderate" to describe Abbas because that is how Obama describes him.

Worse, as long as our friends know they got away with letting their President rip us off of Jerusalem while cleansing the Palestinians while perpetuating the lie that occupation is why Palestinians turned to terror, they have another bridge to sell you.

The Palestinians want Israel to concede everything before negotiations happen. The Palestinians would just be happy to pocket them. In the meantime they can sit tight and wait for American pressure to resume on Israel.

What could go wrong indeed

Why do I have the feeling that Iran is the club Obama is holding over Netanyahu's head...
