Netanyahu to address the nation on Shalit

Israel Radio has announced that Prime Minister Netanyahu will address the nation to outline the steps that the government has taken to bring about the release of kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit just after the 6:00 pm news - about an hour from now.

Wouldn't it be funny if he had something to say about Iran?

Just sayin'....

If Netanyahu is going to say he's going to give Hamas everything they demand, you just know the Shalit March has succeeded in its objective.

Let's pray we don't have to find out that in fact is what has now happened.

Just sayin'....

Ben, Carl liveblogged it.

The real test of course is not what the Prime Minister said but what he will do. I think to get Shalit freed at any price is betrayal of the entire Jewish people. If I was in his place, I would not want to place others' lives at risk for me. I am not that selfish to be unaware of their safety and happiness. And I think Shalit probably feels the same way. There is a line that must not be crossed.
