Good news: Russia to sell S-300 to Turkey

With Turkey moving quickly into the enemies column, this story has to raise some concern: Russia is apparently planning to sell the S-300 surface-to-air anti-missile system to Turkey.
Russia is reportedly willing to sell Turkey its controversial S-300 surface-to-air missile system.

Israel has opposed Russia selling the missiles to Iran for fear they would be used to prevent Israeli planes from taking out Iran's nuclear facilities.

Iran and Turkey recently upgraded bilateral ties and Turkey is considering imposing sanctions on Israel.
What could go wrong?

Yup. And the Russians can say they didn't know Turkey circumvented the sanctions!

What could go wrong indeed

simple solution... buy some ourselves.

we are, after all, selling/developing UAVs with Russia, so why ca't we off-set that deal with one like this.

Everyone knows that Russia is only interested in buying UAVs in order to reverse engineer them. We can do the same, only better
