Will Obama ever realize that we too are a nation at war?
In light of the attempted terror attack in Times Square, Jennifer Rubin believes that President Obama has finally woken up to the reality that - call it what you will - the United States is at war with terrorists. A couple of points are worth noting. First, if accurate, this is the fourth significant jihadist attack since Obama took office. (In case you’ve lost track, there was the Little Rock recruiting shooting, the Fort Hood massacre, and the Christmas bombing — all before this latest event.) If Obama’s array of not-Bush national-security policies were supposed to make us safer, they haven’t.When - if ever - will President Obama realize that we too are a nation at war and cannot make the concessions that he wants us to make to the terror-driven 'Palestinians'? When - if ever - will he wake up to the reality that the terrorists are determined to exterminate us and do not seek to live in peace with us? When - if ever - will he overcome his ideological belief that we are White colonial usurpers who are seeking to expel a colored, indigenous people?And will he awaken to our reality before it is too late?
Second, at least the administration managed to get out the word “terrorist” within a reasonable period of time, and we are told that the president, not on vacation this time, was informed Saturday night. White House message: he’s not out to lunch this time. Finally, I think we can consider the notion of a public trial for KSM in New York or any major city — hopefully any Article III trial — to be finally kaput. The reality — we are a nation at war — at some point overwhelms even the most ideologically driven administration.

Did George W. Bush know Israel was a nation at war during his war on terror especially following 9-11 and the bloody intifada against Israel??
Carl. Don't be naive. The real damage in 'perception' occurred with Bush pushing for the Palestinian state along with his quartet while whitewashing and lying for the whole of the Palestinian people while at the same time fighting a war on terror. If you think that did not demonize Israel and down grade our war on terror, you are deluding yourself. What did this message of occupation and daily humiliation while at the same time rewarding Palestinian terrorists with big $$$ tell the world?
Imagine, placing the UN who supposedly Bush detested on the quartet was quite a message in and of itself.

The only difference has to do with the already speeding train whose new driver is a narcissistic megalomaniac Antisemite 'one worlder' utopian president!!
We had to know the speed and the fervor to appease the whole of the arab world would only intensify. We had to know by actions imposed by such a good friend against Israel would serve much of the Jew hating world and those with whom they appease. Couple that with the very real threat of nuclear destruction by Iran and this spells trouble.

In April last year, the White House directed Georgetown University to cover up part of crucifix, including the initials that indicate he is “King of the Jews” -- that were visible above the podium where Obama was scheduled to speak.
