Bolton: Obama targeting Israeli nukes
Former US ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton told Israeli Army Radio on Tuesday that the 'nuclear free Middle East' proposals being discussed by President Obama and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak are targeting Israel. "Egypt and the Obama administration are negotiating right now on an Egyptian proposal for a nuclear weapons free zone in the Middle East, which certainly sounds good," Bolton told Army Radio."Except when you think about it, there is only one country that resolution is targeted at and that is Israel."Meanwhile, Egypt is refusing to discuss giving up its chemical weapons unless and until Israel gives up its alleged nuclear weapons.
"When I was in the Bush administration we refused to even talk about these kinds of ideas," Bolton said. "I'd be quite worried about the possible outcome there."
"The president is not happy with Israel's nuclear capabilities. I think he would be delighted if Israel gave up its nuclear weapons," Bolton asserted. "The only unknown answer at this point is exactly how much pressure he would exert on Israel to do just that. Part of that pressure is being exerted right now by even considering the possibility of a conference on a nuclear-weapons-free Middle East."
And of course, no one is going to do anything about Iran.
What could go wrong?

Told you Al-taqiyya and dissimulation.It's all about Israel for Obama,he will bully the Jewish leadership,then pretend to be in your camp and smile while all along he wants the end of Israel as a nation.

Remember, Israel never signed the NPT so in essence they have no nukes. The U.S will run into the same situation with Pakistan and India.
Bottom line,Israel will never give up their nukes no matter what.
The downside is the U.S and all their partners in crime will further move to isolate Israel. So be it.
Obama's manic behavior with Israel and all living in a perfect world coincides with my apt description of Obama being a narcassistic meglomaniac, "one worlder," utopian Antisemite.
I have tried to do some checking into what Bolton had to say about the "handwriting on the wall" during the last four years of the Bush administration. Still looking.
Can't tell me no one smelled a smoldering fire seeing even then the weakest of sanctions against Iran was not working while Iran was inching closer to enriching uranium.
Israel would be insane to give up its nuclear arsenal. Because Obama says "jump?" I hope they don't ever contemplate such a move in Jerusalem.
