Stupid Jews: Majority of US Jews still back Obama on Israel

Well, it's not 78% anymore, but a majority of American Jews still back President Obama on Israel.
The 55 percent who approve of Obama's Israel policy is a slight improvement on the finding in the same survey last year [which was 54-32. CiJ], while the disapproval number has ticked up slightly more.

The survey is a reminder of what surveys of American Jews regularly find: They're still overwhelmingly Democratic, and many self-identified Jews responding to polls are more liberal, and less focused on specifically Jewish issues, than the communal leadership.

...

ALSO: Confusingly, only a slightly slimmer majority approves of Netanyahu's performance [57-30. CiJ], and a solid majority opposes dividing Jerusalem [61-35. CiJ].
This shows that (a) many Jews support Obama without knowing what he stands for and (b) as we already knew, many Jews are simply incapable of voting anything other than Democratic.

By the way, US Jews also favor the creation of a 'Palestinian state,' but just barely: 48-45.

American Jews do know who Obama is but they don't care. Their domestic liberalism outweighs any commitments on Jewish issues, especially those relating to Israel. Just don't harbor any high hopes of the Republicans winning over a majority of American Jews in our lifetime.

Leftism manipulates the natural tzedakah of the Jewish soul. Sadly Leftism never leads to the actual act of expressing tzedakah because Leftism is akin to slavery and tyranny. - Like Pharaoh tricking the Hebrews into making bricks, by asking them to help out and join Pharaoh with weights around their necks just as Pharaoh exampled himself in the beginning... eventually the system became so cruel on the Jews, who originally only wanted to help, and Pharaoh no longer provided straw for the bricks...

I fear that many American Jews might assimilate enough to one day not be Jewish anymore. From what I understand [and I may be wrong, my source is conversation with a Rebbe I respect highly though] nearly all of the founders of Reform Judaism have assimilated and/or intermarried with Christians/Atheists/Agnostics/Buddhists/etc. and no longer practice any form of Judaism, even Reform.

When the Jews left Egypt 4/5ths stayed behind. These Jews eventually became Egyptians through assimilation, and 2000 years later we fought the Egyptians in three wars. - It heavies the heart.

Dear American Jews:

If you are not smart enough to vote for a republican in the forthcoming midterm elections, please, do us all one of two major favors.

Either vote for a throw-away party candidate, like a green party or the tax payers party, or don't vote.

More to the point, please, don't lend any support to the democrats. Financial, or campaigning. I understand if you can't bring yourself to vote republican. Just understand that any support you provide any democrat, you are lending aid and comfort to the enemies of the jews and the enemies of Israel. Even if you don't care about the latter, you should care about the former.

In the 1930's, we all thought Hitler would blow over as well. Look at what our collective stupidity and our complacency did then. I would not be surprised to learn that, like voting for, working with, and contributing to democratic party functions, that we jews did the same for the Nazi party in Germany.

Lets prove to the world that we are not stupid. Lets not again lend support those who hate us. Lets not again lend support to those who wish to destroy Israel.

Democrats aren't Nazis. They are however antisemitic in action, in tone, in policy and planks. Even the jews who are in power in the party are this way.

Please, for the future of your families, for our safety here in the US, in Israel, please ... let us not re-elect our enemies, and let us not support our enemies when they come asking for money and our time.

If I do not stand up for me, then who will?

As an American citizen my primary consideration in determining my vote is the candidate's stand on Israel. I do not think I would reveal that to a pollster; American Jews have faced questions of dual loyalty.

I see this differently.

Upon his ascension to office on Jan 20, 2009, Obama had an approval rate of 80% among Jews. Today it is at 55%. This is after just one year. It took Carter 4 years to do that!

Jews in the US are waking up, but it will take years to do it.

Only 100 years ago Jews were strict Republicans. It could happen again!

American Jews are hopeless cases. So twisted by leftwing ideology, they can't see straight. They don't even have a survival instinct anymore. Their continued support for Obama is like them getting on the trains again. Hopeless cases. I can't say I will feel sorry for them this time for now they are just inviting misery.
