Neil Diamond sings Sweet Caroline at Fenway opener
The Sox had an 8-7 lead over the hated Yankees as they went to the bottom of the 8th inning on opening night at Fenway on Sunday night (the Sox eventually won 9-7), and you know what that means: It's Sweet Caroline time. But this time there was an extra treat: Neil Diamond showed up in person to sing it.Let's go to the videotape.
I know that all of you who missed the game because of Passover will be happy to see that.
And the good news is, the Sox won!
