Hmmm....

Have a look at this picture.

Does it remind you at all of the man on our left in this picture?

Obviously, the man on the left in the second picture is Barack Obama. But who is the man in the statue in the top picture? His name is Akhenaten and he was one of the Pharoah's of Egypt.

Although the web site from which I took Akhenaten's picture says that he lived in the first or second century of the common era, Akhenaten was the name of the Pharoah who enslaved the Jews in Egypt in a much earlier time, who also looked like the statue, which by the way sits in the Cairo Museum today.

Hmmm. (Hat Tip: Leah P).

Well, it is said somewhere that in the End of Days, all the leaders who oppressed the Jewish people throughout the ages would be reincarnated.

Carl - I know Passover is over for the year but Caroline Glick and the good folks at Latma present a hilarious spoof of a children's Passover song known as "Chad Gaya". The version is Had Batya Hebrew that plays on house - "Little House." It could not be more timely or appropriate. This is worth watching:

Jester, where does it say that?

I hope you're not confused with this historic event.

Bacci40,

I actually did not post most of it. There's much more. But I'm not sure I buy it all either. I just thought the similarity in look was interesting.

Shy Guy

Unfortunately I'm not exactly sure where (Jewish sources wise), perhaps Carl or others can verify it.

From what I recall though the basic idea is that all the leaders in the past who've oppressed the Jews (such as Sennacherib, Nebuchadnezzar, Vespasian, etc) would be reincarnated in the end of days to be dealt with personally by G-d.
