The Obama administration made George Mitchell its Special Middle East envoy in the belief that he was the best man for the job. After all, Mitchell brought peace to Northern Ireland and resolved hundreds of years of ethnic conflict between Catholics and Protestants.

I am an Orthodox Jew - some would even call me 'ultra-Orthodox.'
