An unanswered question

David Hazony points to this interview with 'Palestinian' chief bottle washer negotiator Saeb Erekat and wonders why this question was not answered:
So it was a funny thing to discover that when I submitted a question I considered something of a softball, it was ignored or perhaps rejected. It was short. It went like this:

Do you unequivocally denounce the use of violent attacks against civilians, including attacks carried out by Palestinians against Israelis?

No answer. Funny, I thought the Palestinians had repudiated terrorism, at least officially.
If they had repudiated it, it was in name only, and they formally re-adopted it at the Fatah Conference last month.

Maybe someone should let Obama know.

Good luck with that.

The Palestinians don't want to repudiate terrorism because they want to get through violence what they can't get at the negotiating table. On that score, they have been consistent.
