About Me
- Name: Carl in Jerusalem
- Location: Jerusalem, Israel
I am an Orthodox Jew - some would even call me 'ultra-Orthodox.' Born in Boston, I was a corporate and securities attorney in New York City for seven years before making aliya to Israel in 1991 (I don't look it but I really am that old :-). I have been happily married to the same woman for thirty-five years, and we have eight children (bli ayin hara) ranging in age from 13 to 33 years and nine grandchildren. Four of our children are married! Before I started blogging I was a heavy contributor on a number of email lists and ran an email list called the Matzav from 2000-2004. You can contact me at: IsraelMatzav at gmail dot com

don't stop there.
jews who were kicked out of arab lands, losing land and valuables, should be compensated.
the palistinians are already openly talking about another wave of terrorism once the us finishes the training of five thousand police/terrorists.
to prohibit a jew from living in judea and samaria is like prohibiting a hopi indian from living in arizona.
obama is arming all of israel's enemies, egypt, jordan, palestinians, hizbollah, syria.
amazing.
Nadav Shragai of Haaretz , one of the Hebrew Palestinian daily's few centrists, wrote the background paper on Sheikh Jarrah and the Shepherd Hotel. His main point is that east Jerusalem neighborhoods are ethnically mixed to such an extent a redivision of the city into two halves is impossible. In east Jerusalem, the Arabs enjoy a majority of around 70,000. There are 200,000 Jews living today in the city's eastern half. More than that if Gush Etzion and Maaleh Adumim to the east is included within Greater Jerusalem.
