Jerusalem demonstration against Obama
There's a demonstration in Jerusalem this evening against President Obama's policies toward Israel. “Not since the days of [U.S. Secretary of State Henry] Kissinger has there been such a protest against American policies,” said MK Yaakov Katz (Ketzaleh), chairman of the National Union party. “The pressure that Barack Hussein Obama is exerting against us to simply stop growing and stop living will not work.”I can't make it tonight, but if any of you are going, pictures and reports would be appreciated. The Obama administration has made it clear that Israel must stop building of all types throughout Judea and Samaria (Yesha), as well as in parts of Israel’s capital city that were liberated during the Six Day War of 1967.
In addition, hints have been dropped that American action against Iran depends on a cessation of Israeli construction in Yesha.

The slogan for Monday’s demonstration, and the message to Obama and his envoys, is, "Yes to Israeli Independence, No to American Dictates!"
A torchlight walk will begin at 6:30 pm at Paris/Jonathan Pollard Square, near the Prime Minister's Office, and go down Agron St. towards the U.S. consulate.

JPost reports about 1000 people there.
Demonstrators held signs that said, "Yes to Israeli Independence! No to American Demands!" Other signs read, "Israel will not fold."More demonstrations to follow.
With more organization, they will get many times that number. Holding aloft a banner bearing the legend "Stop Screwing Israel," Zvi November of Ramat Eshkol in Jerusalem told the Post: "All of the land of Israel belongs to Am Yisrael... There are 22 Arab states comprising five and a quarter million square miles of land - they don't need ours."
He questioned the "American foreign policy that has given rise to former Fatah terrorists now working as policemen being given AK-47 semi-automatic rifles."
MK Uri Ariel (National Union) told the Post: "There's no place in the world where Jews are unable to build themselves a home, but America doesn't want to allow us to build here - we are here to protest the American interference on this matter."

Its by no means only a "right wing" position. If any one in America thinks only the revanants oppose a freeze, they don't understand Israeli policy and public opinion.
