Who is Mir Hossein Mousavi?

Gateway Pundit posts an interview with Iranian human rights activist Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi that puts Mousavi in a much more positive light than what we thought of him a week ago.

Let's go to the videotape.

Jim has been all over the Iran story, and you can find lots more pictures and video from Iran by going here.

"Think."

"Hope."

"Probationary."

"Feet to the fire."

Me thinks there is much wishful thinking going on here.

Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi is a secularist Iranian in the United States. She doesn't have much regard for the Islamist Khomeinist regime in her homeland. As for Mir Hossein Mousavi, being an old regime stalwart, he's the last person one could imagine ever leading a revolution. But people also said that about stalwart Communist apparatchik Boris Yeltsin. Yes, times do change even for the old guard.
