Mumbai Chabad House frozen in time

This video is apparently from British television - I'm not sure what station. And it was obviously shown in Israel, because there are Hebrew subtitles. It's been nearly two months since the Mumbai terror attacks and I found myself very affected by this video.

Let's go to the videotape.

The murder of such beautiful people, may G-d avenge them, will never be forgotten! Gabi and Rivkah remain frozen like a haunting refrain in the landscapes of our souls? What did they do to deserve to this? The death of such kindly people, full of light, is a loss to the world and most of all, we are deeply affected by the suffering of their little son Moshe, who should never had to lose his parents. And yet we can see clearly hating Jews is an evil like nothing else we'll ever see on this earth.

Amen, to that, Norman. Watching the nanny trying to put into language the horrors she witnessed is heart-wrenching and heart-breaking. Gabi and Rivka exuded beauty and life. I would have never known or met them in my life for any other reason but chance, and yet there is a gaping hole where goodness used to fill it.

Jewel Atkins,

You knew them? I feel sick every time I think of that poor child growing up alone in the world.

Yes all, I know, he's not alone because God is with him. But God doesn't answer you quite as directly as a parent does.

And God doesn't walk you down the aisle at your wedding.
