Herzog: 'Hamas is confused'

Just to give you some idea of the bizarre thinking behind the government's 'cease fire' decision, Minister of Humanitarian Aid to the 'Palestinians' Yitzchak Herzog is currently on Israel Radio claiming that there's no reason to respond to this morning's Kassam attacks because 'Hamas is confused' and maybe they will come around.

No, he's not kidding. He's convinced that Hamas is broken. Tell it to the people of Sderot.

Herzog is broken. Livni, Barak and Olmert - broken even more so. It's like they all fell on their heads or were brainwashed by aliens. They snatched away a clear military victory in favor of political butt-kissing. Hamas and the islamofascist terror machine can claim their victory.

Livni's speech and condescending bowing and scraping to the Israel-hating, soon-to-be-jobless Clueless Condi was breathtakingly embarrassing. (Why Livni wasn't booted out of office after her insane bungling of the diplomatic end of the 2006 Lebanon debacle remains a mystery to me.)

Little Napoleon wannabe, Ehud Barach, did his runaway number on the IDF again. And the other Ehud - well we know all about this criminally insane megalomaniac.

What bothers me is that with roughly 91% of Israelis supporting the war, why are we not out on the streets protesting? It's not just that Gilad Shalit has been turned into Ron Arad 2 by this idiotic "government", but that after the brilliant IDF performance in the field, we're not only back to square one, Israeli civilians will be exposed to much greater risk (as in the north).

I wish Techiyat Hameitim came about today. Among other things, I would love to see the likes of Herzog getting the thrashing of his life from his late saintly grandfather, Rav Yitchak Herzog Z"L, whom today's breathing blithering idiot is named after.

Shy Guy,

It's not his fault. It's his father Chaim's fault. Chaim corrupted him. That's why Meir Kahane HY"D used to refer to Chaim Herzog as chometz ben yayin - vinegar the son of wine. Although the original Gemara that uses the phrase refers to a righteous person who considered himself to be on a lower level than his more saintly father, the description is more than apt.
