Another high-ranking Iranian officer disappears in Turkey

Remember Ali Reza Asghari, the high-ranking Iranian general who disappeared in Turkey in February 2007 and is rumored to be cooperating with the CIA and the Mossad? According to the Hebrew blog Blue Eye, it has happened again (link in Hebrew).

Basing itself on Turkish reports, Blue Eye is reporting that Colonel Mohamed Reza Arian of the Iranian army fled with his family to eastern Turkey three months ago after he was threatened for complaining a Turkish human rights organization about the Iranian regime. The organization, the Turkish Human Rights Organization of Vann, Turkey, now reports that Arian is 'missing' and that he may be cooperating with foreign intelligence services.

Stay tuned.
