Hamas spokesman: 'Truce is over'

Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum says the truce is over, blaming Israel for failing to live up to the committments stipulated in the agreement. Negotiations for the release of IDF soldier Gilad Schalit are at a standstill says Barhoum.

The hudna didn't last very long - not that Hamas ever had any real intention of keeping it. I just don't think the Israeli government will learn anything from Hamas' denunciation of a broken agreement.

I hope this is in a weird sense good news: Now they can't say it held and extend it elsewhere.

These Arabs are always shooting themselves in the foot. If they'd just kept their mouths shut, they might have gotten more concessions, because Israel would have wanted to pretend that the "truce" was holding.

The "truce" was broken by Hamas. Now they are crying to the world that Israel broke it, and the Dhimmis in the world will believe it too.

Now is the time to go biblical on them and follow G-d command to Joshua. Wipe out all living things in the land. Do this in Gaza and there will be peace.
