PC alert: 10-year old boy's poem deemed 'racist,' prize winning poetry booklet recalled
A poem written by a 10-year old Nes Ziona boy has been deemed 'racist' resulting in the recall of a booklet of prize-winning poems issued by the town. It's a recall that Comrade Yuli's Education Ministry supports.A poem written by a 10-year old boy from Ness Ziona, in which he describes the life of a bomb-maker named Ahmed who specializes in killing Jews, was included in a booklet published by the city's municipality after it was accepted into a poetry competition. The poem offended the Israeli Arabs who saw it in the booklet, and following an appeal made by Ynet the municipality decided to remove it.I guess we can't let Israeli children know the truth: Not all Arabs are terrorists but all the terrorists here are Arabs. Note also how YNet takes pride in their role in bringing about the recall. Disgraceful!
The poem reads as follows:Ahmed's bunker has surprises galore: Grenades, rifles are hung on the wall. Ahmed is planning another bomb!According to the Arabs who read the poem, it is racist and incites hatred among Arabs and Jews. Ibrahim Abu-Shindi, who manages the Arab community center in Jaffa, said the blame lies squarely on the shoulders of the State and its leaders. "I'm not surprised by this story because all that Jewish children know from television is the Hamas man as a terrorist and a murderer."
What a bunker Ahmed has, who causes daily harm.
Ahmed knows how to make a bomb. Ahmed is Ahmed, that's who he is, so don't forget to be careful of him.

The booklet's editor and poetry competition director Marika Berkowitz was surprised at the protests. "This is the boy's creation and this is what he wanted to express. Of course there should be a limit, but I think the there is no racism here. 'Ahmed' is a general term for the enemy. These are the murmurings of an innocent child.

Due to the objections from the Arab sector, Berkowitz had 500 copies of the booklet recalled and the poem is to be removed from them. The Education Ministry responded by stating that "the local authority that published the booklet should have guided the students in a more correct manner through the schools. The district will investigate the issue with the local authorities."

PC Israeli establishment will only manage to blindfold idiots. You can fool some people sometimes, but you cant fool all the people all the time. Time for self-criticism to be turned in a different direction then "racist religious fanatics" and "nazi like right-wingers".
The poem would be racist if in fact Arabs did not perpetrate terror and incite hatred against Jews. What they do in fact is exactly what is described in the little boy's poem. But its not politically correct in post-survivalist Israel to admit the truth - that the Arabs in fact do hate and go out of their way to murder Jews when they can. The real racists I submit, are Israeli leftists who do not want to admit the Arabs do not see Jews as human beings who have a right to live in their own country. Recalling the poem is not going to hide that truth from the Jewish people.
I think it's good to give kids an outlet to express themselves like this.
I think the lesson learned from this is to avoid government support for projects like this, even if your distribution will be smaller and the production of the booklet more modest.

I am starting to wonder exactly how many jews are left who do not seek to be destroyed. If even the Israeli Jews are uniformly Jewicidal, then why bother? Western Jews are about 90% Jewicidal leftist POS's. When Israeli's are this bad, forget it.
