Six Kadima ministers oppose Golan surrender
Israel Radio reported on its 5:00 AM news Monday morning that six ministers from Prime Minister Ehud K. Olmert's own
Kadima Achora party oppose the surrender of the Golan Heights to Syria. The six include Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz, a former IDF Chief of Staff and Defense Minister and Internal Security Minister Avi Dichter, a former head of the General Security Service.

I sometimes wonder what is going on in Olmert's brain. Can he be so stupid to believe that the minute he gives up the Golan Heights the rockets will start to fall on the North?
Giving up the Golan would be the stupidest thing to do.
There's the disgraced Dan Halutz who believes it would be a good idea for Israel to do so. Yep, the same IDF Chief Of Staff who bungled a war. Some military genius.

You do have to wonder what's going on in Ehud Olmert's mind. According to Ynet this morning, he's quoted as saying Israel faces a choice between a Greater Israel and a Jewish State. The former he called "a delusion." Olmert never explained exactly how shrinking the country would make it more secure. As for demography, its been debunked and it doesn't apply at all to the Golan Heights. Just another day Olmert has demonstrated how insulated Israel's leaders are from realityand how readily they take leave of their senses.
