Egypt to shoot live ammo if Hamas tries to breach border again
Egypt knows how to deal with Hamas in ways that would result in Israel being castigated in the court of public opinion: live fire.Egyptian security forces along the border fence with Gaza have been told to fire live ammunition at any Hamas demonstrator who approaches the fence, Channel 10 reported Wednesday. Hamas wants to wrest control of the border passages from the Egyptians' hands, according to this report.Using live ammunition will sure do wonders for Mubarak's popularity.
The terror attack on the border crossing at Nahal Oz, where fuel is transported into Gaza, was meant to cause Israel to cut off Gaza's fuel supply, thus providing an excuse for Hamas to take to the streets again and try to break through the border to Egypt again, the television channel's evening news said.

On a more serious note, I would hope that Israel will cut off fuel and 'risk' another Hamas border break. But don't hold your breath expecting that to happen.
