Carl - the entire thing reminds me of the police chief discovering gambling in Ricky's cafe. The Israeli government is just "shocked" the so called moderate Fatah is involved in terrorism! They know who these people are but they can't bring themselves to admit that Fatah and Hamas are brethren under the skin and the differences between them are mainly in terms of style. The point of course, is that's immaterial to the murdered Israelis.
Just don't expect the Israeli government to terminate contact with the "good" terrorists. It would show up the utter policy and moral bankruptcy it has. Olmert and company are not about to confess to the People Of Israel their government has led them down a dead end road to national suicide over the past decade.
