Amihai and Rubin were murdered by 'Palestinian policeman' and Fatah member

The General Security Service is confirming tonight that the two terrorists who murdered off-duty IDF soldiers Ahikam Amihai and Yehuda Rubin HY"D (pictured, top left) on Friday were a member of the 'Palestinian police' and a member of Fatah, respectively. In other words, they were 'good terrorists.' On Sunday, I blogged a story that reported that 'some' of the terrorists were 'good terrorists.' I blogged another story that indicated that suit-and-tie-clad Salam Fayad claimed on Sunday that his 'government' had arrested some of the terrorists. Tonight, I can confirm that was almost accurate. The terrorists turned themselves in to the 'Palestinian police' (yes, the same 'Palestinian police') to avoid arrest by the IDF.
One of the terrorists who killed two Israeli hikers on Friday near Hebron is a policeman in the Palestinian National Security Force, and the other is a known Fatah operative and a close associate of the Palestinian Intelligence Service, the Shin Bet (Israel Security Service) revealed Tuesday night.

According to details of the murder of off-duty soldiers and nature enthusiasts David Rubin and Ahikam Amihai, the gunmen, Ali Dandis, 24, and Amar Taha, 26, surrendered on the day of the attack to the Palestinian security forces in Hebron out of fear that they would be caught by the IDF. They also handed over the weapons they captured from the hikers.

Dandis worked as a clerk at the Sharia [Muslim religious. CiJ] courts in Hebron. Both are residents of the West Bank city, security officials said. They noted that Friday's attack was not the first time that Palestinian security officials or policemen were involved in terror attacks. Last month, Ido Zoldan was gunned down in the West Bank by Palestinian terrorists that turned out to be members of the PA security forces.

The PA did not report the surrendering of the terrorists, the Shin Bet said. After learning of their surrender, the security agency transferred a request to the PA asking that they transfer to Israel the murder weapons and the weapons of those who were murdered. In response to the demand, PA officials confirmed that the two had surrendered and were being interrogated. [In other words, had Israel not found out, the 'Palestinian Authority' would not have said anything. CiJ]

All of the weapons were transferred to Israel on Saturday.

Security officials said the attack was premeditated and its goal was to kill the hikers and steal their weapons. Security officials said that declarations in the media by Palestinian officials to the effect that the incident was of a criminal nature were in direct contradiction to the findings on the scene, as well as to the confessions of the terrorists themselves.

The declarations, they said, were likely intended by the PA to skirt responsibility for the incident, particularly because the terrorists were Fatah operatives and members of the PA security forces.
But Abu Mazen, the 'man of peace' is doing a great job of fighting terrorism, isn't he Condi? Why don't you give him another $1 billion for his efforts?

They were murdered by Ehud Olmert - who gave the terrorists the weapons to murder Jews. And of course Olmert accepts no responsibility for his indifference to Jewish life. Dead Jews, wounded Jews, homeless Jews - its all abstraction to him. What matters is the Nobel he shares with Abbas before escaping to France.

Is it possible that the murders were done with the complicity of Olmerde and Barak.
Those guys ant a deal, and would like to scare the Jews out of Yeshaso they can be good Peres style "Israelis" . Wouldn't be the first time the mensheviks sacrificed Jews for their political agenda.

Daniel, no need to postulate conspiracy theories where there not a shred of evidence to them.

Norman's got the right idea.
