Those ubiquitous 'toy guns'
Yesterday was the 43rd anniversary of the founding of the 'moderate' Fatah terrorist organization (home of the 'good terrorists'), the precursor to the 'Palestinian Authority' and the 'Palestinians' celebrated in their usual fashion:Palestinian children play with toy guns during a rally marking the 43 years anniversary since the establishment of the Fatah movement, in the West Bank town of Bethlehem, Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008. Gaza's ruling Hamas militant group launched a new crackdown on the rival Fatah movement Tuesday, arresting dozens of activists and barring public gatherings after Fatah anniversary celebrations sparked deadly violence throughout the Gaza Strip.I want you to note a few things here:

First, do those really look like 'toy guns'?
Second, note "the Fatah movement" v. "Hamas militant group" as al-AP continues the pretense that there is any difference between them. Tell that to the families of Ahikam Amihai and Yehuda Rubin HY"D (may God avenge their blood).
Third, note that Fatah was founded on January 1, 1965 (forty-three years ago), some two and a half years before Israel

Is the red glare in the photo coming from a laser pointer mounted on the rifle being held by the TerrorTubbie in the lower left?
Oh Carl - you're giving Fatah far too much credit. The terrorists are back to killing each other when they can't find Jews to kill. But give them a reichlet and they will find a way to live together at last.
Do the writers who say this junk ever have a smidgen of evidence that they are "toy guns," or do they just say it because they want it to be true?
I guess the question answers itself.
Lots of "toy guns" here: LGF: Palestinian Child abuse Slide Show.
