Starving in Gaza?
We keep hearing how there's a 'humanitarian crisis' in Gaza (and Lebanon for that matter) and how all the poor 'Palestinians' are starving. There's a good reason why. Here's what the Hamas-led government spends its money on (from a New York Times puff piece on all the different 'militias' in Gaza):The Qassam Brigades is well financed; many members carry new weapons and ammunition vests. Despite the well-equipped Palestinian Authority security forces in Gaza, the new Hamas government prefers to use a contingent of Qassam Brigades fighters for protection.The 'Palestinian people' are 'starving'.
