Soldier killed, five wounded, Paleostinians hold body parts

This morning we had a reminder that there is a third front in this war.

An IDF soldier was killed early this morning and five more were wounded when 'Palestinians' threw a powerful bomb at their patrol in Shchem (Nablus). Some of the wounded soldiers were hit while trying to evacuate the battle zone.

One of the five wounded soldiers is seriously wounded, two are moderately wounded and two are 'lightly' wounded. One of the (apparently not 'lightly') wounded was the son of OC Central Command Lt.-Gen. Yair Naveh.

The Jerusalem Post reports:
Some body parts of the dead soldier were left behind, Palestinian witnesses said. Hundreds of Palestinians later gathered at the scene to view parts of the soldier's leg, and many of them reacted with celebratory chants, the witnesses said.
YNet reports:
Immediately after the explosion, dozens of residents gathered around the soldier's body and burst into shouts of happiness.

After the incident, a senior member of the Brigades told Ynet that his people hold part of the killed soldier's body. Another activist made it clear that there is no plan to negotiate on the body parts, and that they would be transferred to the Palestinian Authority and from there to Israel.
'Moderate Palestinian President' Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen's Fatah's al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades have taken 'credit' for the attack and for the ghoulish 'celebration.'

Canibalistic savages.

In case anyone was wondering, that was a bitter - not a sarcastic - comment. This is a war and we expect people to be killed. But the type of behavior that the 'Palestinians' often exhibit with respect to bodies and body parts is simply beyond the pale in my book. It shows they're not ready to part of civilization, let alone have their own state reichlet.
