Kassam hits Netivot

Not in the news yet, but I just received an email from Harvey in Efrat indicating that a Kassam rocket has hit Netivot. This is further away from Gaza than Sderot and Ashkelon (it's a slightly different direction).

Netivot is 12 kilometers from Gaza.

Yes, that's further than Sderot or Ashkelon.

-----The distance between Gaza and Ashkelon is
11 Kilometers = 6.83540 Miles.

-----The distance between Gaza and the Power Station in Ashkelon is 9 Kilometers = 5.59260 Miles.

-----The Distance between Gaza and Shderot is
5 Kilometers = 3.10700 Miles.

-----The distance between Gaza and Netivot is
12 Kilometers = 7.45680 Miles.

Distances found here.

Karl,

How do you think this is going to play out? Is there an end state to the incursion into Gaza? To the exchange of fire with Gaza?

I think the endgame is going to come soon. IDF positions keep creeping closer to Gaza city and Hamas, Fatah, and PRC terrorists keep getting eliminated in airstrikes all over the place. Israel is tightening the noose and Hamas sees the writing on the wall, which is why they're calling for a hudna.

you know that when Hamas is calling for a hudnah they are not doing well. This is the 3rd time they have done this.
The good news is that Israel is not buying it (for now) I will give Olmert Credit I didn't think he would have done a move like this - no matter how it looks that Israel is saying no to a "ceace fire"
