Terrorists can't aim

Terrorists fired two Grad-type Katyusha rockets from somewhere in the Sinai Peninsula on Thursday.
One of the rockets landed in the Jordanian port of Aqaba across the Gulf of Aqaba from the Israeli city of Eilat. It is not known where the other rocket landed. Jordanian Information Minister Nabil al-Sharif said initial investigations indicate the rocket was a Russian-designed Grad that was fired from beyond Jordan's borders. He said authorities continue to look into the explosion to determine exactly from where the missile was launched.

Al-Sharif, who is also a government spokesman, said the rocket damaged a refrigerated warehouse on Aqaba's northern outskirts. No deaths or injuries were reported.

Aqaba residents reported hearing at least two early morning explosions in the city. Eilat residents also reported hearing explosions at around 5 A.M. An Israeli supervisor at the Sinai border instructed police to close down the crossing and to warn tourists in the area.

Security forces and police scoured the area, but found no indication of what caused the explosion. Shortly after, the crossing was reopened to traffic.

...

The incident occurred as jitters were high a week after Israel issued an urgent warning to its citizens to leave Egypt's nearby Sinai Peninsula immediately, citing concrete evidence of an expected terrorist attempt to kidnap Israelis in Sinai.

Israel's anti-terror office, which issued the warning, maintains a standing travel advisory telling Israelis to stay out of the Sinai desert because of the threat of terror attacks.

...

The Grad, known as the BM-21 Grad, is a truck-mounted 122-mm multiple rocket launcher developed in the early 1960s in the Soviet Union. Military experts say its maximum range is 40 kilometers (25 miles).
But all the 'cool' Israelis continue to vacation in Sinai anyway. What could go wrong?

Perhaps all those leftists will come home to demonstrate in Shimon HaTzaddik today to harass their fellow Jews for the crime of living where they want in Jerusalem. Israel has its share of Jews with no Jewish spark inside their souls.

What could go wrong indeed

NormanF..So you are saying only the left goes to the Sinai? So the left group goes to the Sinai while protesting where other Jews can or can not live?

This means all those who go to the Sinai are raving leftists. As for all the other tourist spots in the world where in today's envoirment are bad for Jews, that is different?

I truly understand what you are saying and why, but is there nothing in-between?

I mean, I would never buy a German car or anything German made. This is just a principal I have always held. What does this make me? What does it say for those, many of whom are religious Jews who drive German cars and purchase Bosch appliances? Oh my, all the religious Jews must be supportive of Germany then!! Ditto for those who drive other cars hailing from countries who are openly hostile to Israel.

Someone in an off-handed comment to me stated how lucky for Israel the bones of the Palestinian movement is openly hostile. If they were not, what then?

All of the above, the problem with painting a picture with one big brush stroke.

Indeed. Here is my short list: All Jews are rich, have hook noses, will screw you out of just about anything and we also killed Christ.
