Overnight music video
I mentioned earlier this week that the period between Passover and Shavuoth is a period of mourning. The reason is that during this period, thousands of students of the great Rabbi Akiva died. We are told that the reason for their deaths was that they did not internalize the lessons of their great Rabbi: You shall love your friend as you love yourself.This song combines "You shall love your friend as you love yourself," with another famous saying "All Jews are responsible for one another." It's called "Areivim Kol Yisrael" and it's sung by Yaakov Shwekey.
