Stupid Jews: Israel releases two terrorists

While Gilad Shalit continues to languish in captivity in Gaza, Israel released two more 'Palestinian' terrorists from jail. One of them was a top Hamas functionary.
Israel released former prisoner affairs minister Waspi Kabaha to his home in a village near Jenin, in northern Shomron. He was arrested three years ago and placed under administrative detention for six months. However, apparently in order to apply pressure for the release of kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit, the orders were renewed several times, for six months each. It did not work, however, and Kabaha has now been freed – while Shalit remains in captivity, never having met with neutral observers since he was abducted nearly four years ago.

The Shalit family has not commented publicly on the development.

Kabaha’s release was overshadowed by the release of another PA prisoner at the same time: Ahmed Sabah. Jailed for nearly ten years, he was deported to Gaza – but refuses to go, complaining that his home is in Tul Karem, in the western Shomron east of Netanya. He is currently sitting and waiting at the Erez crossing point into Gaza.

Though he lived in Tul Karem, Sabah’s ID card was issued in Gaza.

There has been no news from Gilad Shalit ever since a videotape of him reading a message was given to Israel nearly seven months ago.
Was this another gesture to the Obama administration and the 'Palestinians'? If so, why did the government do it? Was Kabaha released because of 'legal complications' in holding him any longer? If so, why is a Guantanamo-type facility good enough for America but not for Israel?

Stupid Jews!

I believe this is part of a series of more Israeli concessions intended to induce the PA to resume proximity talks. Unless Israel gives in on Jerusalem that won't happen and even if it did, the PA would still refuse to talk to Israel. After all, it can see Israel cannot say "no" to US demands and as it can reasonably conclude, US pressure on Israel is working and there is no need to negotiate for its demands when in the end the Jews will give them everything they want on a silver platter. Why even go through the sham of proximity talks? Israel will in the end back down after a lot of huffing and puffing and macho declarations.

What could go wrong indeed
